In February1802 a small group of mostly Scottish families sailed from England on the Coromandel. They had come to London from the Scottish border country, casualties of the movement which enclosed the small, tenant farms where their families had worked over generations.
Luna Park – Just for Fun
Luna Park is situated at Lavender Bay on the northern foreshores of Sydney Harbour. It occupies the site where the Sydney Harbour Bridge workshops originally stood during the 1920’s and the early 1930’s.

I used to go there after a swim
At the pool next door
My eyes would widen as I gazed about
