Well... here we are with the first issue for 2004. It has taken a while but I think it was well worth the wait as this is one of our biggest issues yet. You will have seen by now that Simply Australia now has its own domain name - simplyaustralia.net. Please make sure you add it to your bookmarks and change your links to this site.

It is great to have some new writers contributing as well as some interesting work by some of our regulars. We have a larger than usual selection of poetry for you to enjoy and don't miss the interesting interview with New Zealand's singing historian, Phil Garland.

Thanks to everyone who has written to us with such encouraging words about our online magazine. It is all done on a voluntary basis so your letters are a great boost to our enthusiasm. We are always on the look-out for interesting stories about ordinary Australians so do keep the letters questions and articles coming.
