Welcome to the third issue of Simply Australia. We do appreciate your interest. First an apology for the delay in publishing this issue.
Since our last issue we have had an incredible run of bad luck! During very high winds we had a tree fall on our house. It damaged a large section of the roof and punctured the ceiling. Then two thirds of our property was devastated by bushfire on Boxing Day but thankfully the house was saved through the amazing efforts of the bushfire fighters.
This was followed by a serious computer failure which saw us heading down the highway to Melbourne for repairs. We believe that smoke from the fires caused the failure as ash covered the computers and desk when the smoke cleared. While we were away an undetected puncture in the roof caused by the tree meant we were greeted by rain damage to various parts of the house on our return.
Despite these setbacks, we are still smiling; And we hope you will be smiling too when you view the content of this issue. Besides our valued regular contributors, we have quite a few new ones offering an array of articles and music to keep you entertained for hours.
We cannot help being excited by the evolution of Simply Australia. We have decided to make it a quarterly magazine so the next issue will be online in June. Thank you to all those who have taken the time to subscribe and we do appreciate the supporting comments that continue to arrive.
