Simply Australia editorial

Welcome to the latest issue of Simply Australia. It has been a long time coming but this is our biggest issue yet. With a somewhat watery theme, there is plenty to keep you occupied, from the fascinating first hand account in the unpublished work of Alec Bagot on the night the Titanic sank to a collection of broadsides which link to shipwreck tragedies in Australia's history.

Eloise JaneWith the approach of Anzac Day we have included a couple of relevant poems and a review of a new CD on impressions of World WAr One.

Just a reminder that all past issues are archived on this site. It is now quite a large resource and to help you there is a search engine near the bottom of the front page which accesses the whole site.

A big thank you to all our contributors for making this issue the bumper one that it is.

Finally, we'd like to introduce you to the latest member of the Simply Australia family: Eloise Jane. What a thrill to be grandparents! Congratulations Susannah and Rohan.

Good reading, happy listening and enjoy, from the team at Simply Australia
